    The Executive Director has overall strategic and operational responsibility for Safe Harbors staff, programs, expansion, and for the execution of our mission.

  • Rachel Gregory, Director of Adult Services

    The Director of Adult Services is responsible for oversight of all of our adult programming. This includes our advocacy, case management, housing, and PREA programming. Additionally, she oversees our shelter development and programming.

  • Jo Cuson, Data and Finance Coordinator

    The Data and Finance Coordinator is responsible for all financial, program and data reporting for the agency.

  • Rebecca Godwin, Youth Services Coordinator

    Our Director of Youth Services oversees our youth specialist staff in Ontario, Yates, and Seneca Counties, and provides personal safety presentations to children in Pre-K through 8th grade; and healthy relationship, consent, bystander and group programming to high school students.

  • Melissa Gilbert, Child Advocacy Coordinator

    The role of the Child Advocacy Coordinator is to oversee Child Advocacy Center-based crisis support to child victims of abuse and their non-offending caregivers, including provision of direct service. The Coordinator will work in collaboration with partner agencies to reduce trauma to children and their families.

    Our Senior Advocate is responsible for the training and supervision of our adult advocacy team, and for program development in this area. She also provides crisis advocacy services to adult victims of crime.

    Our Advocates are responsible for providing support and advocacy services for adults who have experienced domestic and/or sexual violence in our three county service area. These services include one on one crisis counseling, group counseling, court accompaniment, and legal, medical, and social service advocacy, as well as support with petitions for orders of protection.

  • Caitlin M, Senior Criminal Justice Systems Advocate

    Our Senior Criminal Justice Systems Advocate is responsible for training and supervision of our criminal justice systems related advocacy team and for program development in this area. This includes our Victim/Witness Coordination program in the Yates County District Attorney's Office, our Ontario County Court Advocacy Program, and our PREA (Prison Rape Elimination Act Program). She also provides direct services to victims of crime as they navigate the criminal justice system.

    Our Court Advocate is responsible for providing advocacy and support services to those who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and child abuse as they access Ontario County Family Court. This includes support with family court orders of protection, custody, child support, and other family court matters.

  • Julianna O, Victim/Witness Coordinator

    Our Victim/Witness Coordinator works inside the Yates County District Attorney’s Office and is responsible for providing services to victims of all types of crime in Yates County. These services include information about victim rights, advocacy with law enforcement, court accompaniment, and communication on all relevant information related to the court case.

    Our PREA Specialist works with neighboring prisons to provide advocacy services to those who have been sexually assaulted while in prison. Additionally, the PREA Specialist provides one on one and group services in our local jails.

    Our Senior Case Manager is responsible for training and supervision of our Case Management team, as well as program development in this area. She also provides case management services after the initial crisis period to victims of all crime, with an emphasis on those who have experienced or witnessed physical, sexual, or emotional abuse.

    Our Case Managers are responsible for providing ongoing advocacy and support services, after the initial crisis period to victims of all crime, with an emphasis on those who have experienced or witnessed physical, sexual, or emotional abuse.

They also provide students, faculty, and staff with expert educational services regarding sexual and relationship violence and health.

    Our Anti-Trafficking Specialists are responsible for providing crisis intervention and advocacy services for individuals in Yates, Ontario and Seneca county who have experienced labor or sex trafficking—adults and minors. They also assist with developing and conducting human trafficking trainings and presentations in schools and the community.

    Our Anti-Trafficking Specialists are responsible for providing crisis intervention and advocacy services for individuals in Yates, Ontario and Seneca county who have experienced labor or sex trafficking—adults and minors. They also assist with developing and conducting human trafficking trainings and presentations in schools and the community.
